Youve heard of people who get in over their heads havent you? Sometimes it refers to having too many pets. Such is my storys beginning. There were too many dogs where I lived and a couple of us had to leave. Now Im at Benld where there are even more dogs and we are all hoping for homes. Some of them are pals of mine, but not all. I think people are much better and those who take me for a ride in a car are the best. That gives me some braggin rights around here. I do pretty good on a ride but need some space. What will be wonderful is moving to a home where there is a great fenced yard and space for me to run and exhaust myself! Theres a lot of pup inside me even though people insist on labeling me as senior. Im ready for the Senior Dog Olympics. Just the same, small children might be a bit much for me since I'm not used to them. It is OK if I need to spend a lot of time outside as long as I have a safe shelter, food and water. Shade in the hot weather and warm comfort in the cold is needed, just like for you. Im thinking youll find me so irresistible that we work on house manners. Lets give it a try!
